Frankopanski plemićki grad Brinje

    U prošlosti plemićki grad moćne obitelji Frankopan, da bi kasnije pao u nadležnost Vojne krajine i postao prva linija obrane protiv Turaka. Tijekom godina utvrda je polako propadala, tako da je danas od nje ostala samo kapela sv. Trojstva i ulazna kula, dok se neki drugi dijelovi mogu raspoznati samo u tragovima temelja. Kapela sv. Dvorac Prandau – Mailath, Donji Miholjac

U samom centru Donjeg Miholjca nalazi se  dvoraca obitelji Mailáth. Stariji, prizemni dvorac, jedna od prvih većih zgrada u Donjem Miholjcu, sagrađena je 1818. godine za vlastelinsku obitelj Prandau. Zgrada je građena u kasnobaroknom stilu a bila je i prva koja je u mjestu pokrivena crijepom. Ima dva salona, četrnaest soba, te nekoliko kuhinja i smočnica. U parku oko dvorca sagrađen je i staklenik za tropsko i zimsko bilje.                                        Gospin otok, according to some sources, was the first settlement of Croats in this area. In the 10th century, on the site of today’s church, the Croatian queen Jelena has built two churches: that of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Stephen’s within which ruins the sepulchral slab of queen Jelena and of Jelena’s sarcophagus were found.
